The menu found below: Should be used as a guide, as Cycle Technician Martin Wilkins (High Wycombe area) cannot give quotes (or even vague estimations) without seeing your bike first.

Whilst a good majority of what our mobile workshop does is unique to the individual requirements of each repair we see, we operate a fixed menu servicing system for general routine servicing tasks.

There is a minimum charge/call out of £25.00 which is not added to the bill if labour is more than £25.00 This is chargeable if Cycle Tech UK needs to view your bike and make a report and work is not carried out at the same time. It may not be chargeable if Cycle Tech UK take your bike away for repair. If you like Cycle Tech UK to view your bike(s) for a free quote, you can bring to the Saturday bike clinic.

Where a long winter of neglect, cold weather, and damp conditions has played havoc with the cables, the tyres & the chain. There are signs of rust & there’s a curious clicking noise when you turn the cranks. Then it's time to arrange a Bicycle MOT for your prize steed.

Travel charge:
Saving you time and money
There may be a travel charge for outside of a 5-mile working radius of Cycle Tech UK area. Then there is a charge of 45p/mile for total mileage. Example 20 miles = £9.00

If your bicycle is in a dirty condition, there may be a charge for cleaning to allow for closer inspection of the frame and components.

Any parts and labour not already covered by the service may not be able to be included in the service at the time of the service, and may require a second booking. A second visit charge for call-out, labour and parts may be payable. An estimate of which will be given if requested by the customer.

Payment Terms and conditions: 
  • Prompt payment in full requested at the time of invoice.
  • Any parts remain the property of  the Cycle Tech UK until paid in FULL
  • Cycle Tech UK accept Cash and direct payment by BACS
  • Payments by Cheque will incur an administration fee of 5% 
  • For other payments, please contact your local cycle technician
  • Any parts specially ordered must be paid in full beforehand and cannot be returned for credit.
Appointments:
Due to the nature of the business, and keeping on time for appointment's, there is a chance of running late. Cycle Tech UK will do their upmost to keep you informed.  
Work carried out at your home or on site; This will require you or someone at all times who is responsible for authorising any extra work and payment. 
We may need to speak with you in person. Being able to interact with the Technician who is working on your bike, makes the job a whole lot easier to diagnose those annoying little problems the first time. And we also like to give free advice on anything cycling!
I can get very busy with customers cycling needs, once they get hold of me, I can get a list of jobs and is hard for me to know how long it's going to take. In busy times you may need be available either side of your booked in time as we may be running early or late, you will be advised.


Working conditions:
The Cycle Tech UK mechanic will carry out all work with the minimum disruption to the customer. However, it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that there is a suitable and safe place to work on the bike. If no suitable premises are available, Cycle Tech UK reserves the right to make an additional charge for the carriage of the cycle to a suitable place of work.
Where the service is required to be carried out indoors, the mechanics will take reasonable precautions to protect any floor coverings, decorations, and furnishings from damage.
The work place provided must be free from children and animals to avoid any accidents or injuries.
The mechanic is not obliged to offer any service in a place where there is a Health and Safety risk.
